After an absence of five years – making  Phoenix the only major city in the nation without one – Aunt Rita’s Foundation and a multi-agency steering committee are bringing the AIDS Walk back to the Valley of the Sun on Sunday, Oct. 5 in downtown Phoenix.

New Location and New Director for 2008 International Horror & Sci-Fi Film Festival

The International Horror and Sci-Fi Film Festival is preparing for its fourth year and is making some exciting changes. After the closing of Harkins Centerpoint, the festival's previous location, it will be moving to Chandler Cinemas. Another exciting change for the Festival is new Festival Director, Andrea Beesley-Brown whose alter ego, The Midnite Movie Mamacita, has been titillating and terrifying audiences since 2006 with her weekly showings of underground and little known films.
